Meaning of terms

The Company; Tag Care Ltd

Client; a business or individual licensing the Products for use with their own End User clients

End Users; individuals who use the Products to store and make available their or their family’s health data, such data to be available to health care workers or volunteers through the use of the Company’s Products.

Products; products made by the Company and either licensed (in the case of software) or sold (in the case of wearable items) directly or indirectly to End Users for the purpose of allowing End Users to provide essential health care information or services assisting themselves or their family members; such information or service being provided to members of the Health Care services, Health Care Volunteers etc. or members of their family.

Internal Tag Care Business Processes

In this context Tag Care Ltd is both a Data Controller and a Data Processor but as it uses personal data only to support core business processes –

• Staff administration

• Advertising and marketing

• Public Relations

• Record keeping

the company is not required to register as a Data Controller for these purposes. It will, of course, comply with the regulations in producing and following a Policy to ensure that it is compliant with the Regulations.

Tag Care Products 

Tag Care Products can be licensed to;

A. End Users directly by Tag Care Ltd

B. Business clients

In case A. The end user is the Data Controller, determining how the data is processed and Tag Care Ltd is the Data Processor.

In case B clients may perform the role of Data Controller, whereas Tag Care Ltd performs the role of Data Processor.

The software will include the requirement that end users signing up to use the products given their explicit consent to their personal and sensitive personal data being processed, and where appropriate controlled, by the Company. 

The Company will adopt a Security Policy which will govern the way its systems are set up, maintained and used to ensure the protection of personal and sensitive personal data stored within them.

In particular all personal data connections to the Company’s server will be encrypted using Secure Socket Layer Technology.

The Company will comply with the regulations in producing and following a Policy to ensure that it is compliant with the Regulations.
